Minister for Magic has resigned!
At least that was what the news paper said. For once something the daily prophet has said turned out true. Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge has stepped down from his position. Finally admitting to the public that Voldemort has indeed returned once again, he decided that he couldn't do this again. Once more the wizarding world is in a state of panic. Death Eaters are wreaking havoc again as well...and it's not only affecting wizards but the muggles as well. The deaths of Emmaline Vance and Susan Bones, which both have made wizard news. Then there was the issue with the Brockdale bridge. Now the Muggle prime minister has been informed of the happening and who is behind them. The muggles have been fairly warned, as much as they need to be.
Young Harry Potter is preparing to return for his Sixth year of school. Professor Dumbledore had gone to get him personally, there was something that he still needed Harry for. On the way to the Burrow Harry meets Horace Slughorn, who he successfully persuaded into coming out of retirement and teach at Hogwarts again. Harry spends the rest of his summer with the Weasley's like he has been doing since he was in his second year of school. Upon returning to Hogwarts, he notices something strange about Draco. And that doesn't just include what he heard Draco talking to Pansy, Zabini, Crabbe, and Goyle on the train ride up to the school. Harry has really started to believe that Draco is a death eater. He is becoming determined to find out what the slimy Slytherin is up.
And what about these lessons he has with Dumbledore all of a sudden? Harry doesn't know what he should make of the year. Meanwhile everyone has matters of what is going on outside of Hogwarts on their minds. The students are worried about what could happen to their family, or to them even. On top of it all they are trying to survive yet another school year. Outside of Hogwarts, everyone is in a panicked state. People are too afraid to go anywhere alone, parents have started to drag their children and loved ones with them everywhere they go. All simply cause they are no longer safe as they believe they once were.
